Inspired by Japanese fabrics, and traditional kimo Inspired by Japanese fabrics, and traditional kimono design, I like to recycle my own clothes and deconstruct vintage garments to create new pieces. I adore the obi (Japanese belt) and vintage silk kimono material. It is a 12 metre decorative narrow panel with finished side hems that can be easily draped and pleated on a dressmaking body, the flow of the fabric leads the way of the design.
